  1. Relate to Grow was the theme of the conference.
Humans are rational animals. They are also relating animals. Fr. George lays out three urges in humans. The urge to relate, the urge to affirm and the urge to grow. Healthy identity under-pins healthy growth and healthy relating under-pins healthy identity. I and you are considered dichotomic opposites. So, as Fr. George says I am I and You are You - we may differ with each other in many ways, as yet we respect each other - and together we can achieve our goals. When this mutual respect and cooperation is achieved what gets generated is healthy identity. Healthy relating matched by healthy identity opens up the doors for physis - the inborn capacity to grow and to develop to be released - resulting in growth and development. This approach in Transactional Analysis adds a growth dimension to TA. The positive aspects of Transactional Analysis are emphasised and practiced leading to individual growth and development.

  2. It is a wonderful start. Your diligence and passion to share will surely turn out to be infectious. This blog would be flooded with people sharing their experiences with TA. It might be slow but would be rich in quality.

I too would invite everyone to be open in sharing their views and enlighten each one of us. Together we will enjoy the journey of life.
